Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland. Key art, character re-design sheets and other outtakes & call outs.

This project is still a work in progress. I am envisioning Wonderland and its characters in my style. This story has so much depth to it, and I know in my heart I have the key to a Wonderland you've never imagined before. It's dear to my heart; I have hundreds of iterations of each character in my sketchbook and iPad. I'll probably post all of it at some point for your viewing pleasure,  but until then this page is the promise of something great to come.






Exploration of character before it is found is loose and at times imperfect, but the point is to execute ideas as quickly as possible to get bad ideas out of the way first. Once the concepts that do not work are produced, sometimes parts of them help inform future designs. The process is to be repeated over and over until I settle for the final character design.
